I'm just a 27-year-old Turkish girl who found herself in the whirlwind of New York City during the crazy times of COVID-19. Let me take you on a journey, a rollercoaster of dreams, setbacks, and the birth of something truly special – 'Cherry On Top.' 🍒

So, picture this: I come to the U.S. all pumped up for an internship in 2020, and bam! COVID hits, and I have to head back to my roots. Disheartening, right? But I wasn't ready to throw in the towel just yet. After some twists and turns, I find myself back in the States, all alone in a room in New Jersey, with a dream and not much else.✨

Guess what? The internship? Yeah, canceled. But did I pack my bags and head home? Nope, not this girl. I decided to stick around, navigate the challenges, and make my dreams happen. I've always been the business and marketing enthusiast, and being my own boss was always the goal. I knew America held the key to unlock those dreams.😌

Being an immigrant and flying solo was tough, let me tell you. Missing family, the struggle – it was real. And it did  push me. Every hurdle taught me something new, and I'm just so grateful for every opportunity that came my way.🙏🏼

Now, here's where it gets interesting. Love decided to sprinkle a bit of its magic dust on me. I met my boyfriend, and his family became my second family. Their support became the wind beneath my wings. With love and newfound strength, I decided it was time to turn my dreams into something tangible.🤞🏼

And that's how 'Cherry On Top' bloomed. It's not just hair accessories; it's a piece of my heart, my journey. I've always loved hair clips, and I wanted to make them not just cute but meaningful, girly, and creative. More than anything, as an immigrant who started with pretty much nothing, I wanted to be a beacon of inspiration. I want people to look at 'Cherry On Top' and think, "Hey, if she can do it, so can I!" 🍒💖
